This car has over $27,000 in work done to make it a very solid driver. Drive anywhere. All work documented with receipts from local specialty Mercedes shop. Mechanically excellent and very nice looking. No hard top, soft top excellent. I have enjoyed owning this car and so will the new owner. Appraised at over $21,000, and I have a Certified appraisal in hand. Engine bay looks great, no rust on car anywhere. Mechanical work done in last two years: New timing chain and tensioner( done as preventative maintenance, not necessity); new valve stem seals and valve cover gaskets; new air conditioning (compressor, receiver/dryer, radiator); reconditioned main radiator, relined fuel tank with new sender unit; new brake calipers, rotors and lines; new tires; rebuilt transmission; resealed rear end; new rear coil springs; new muffler and exhaust pipes; rebuilt steering gear box; new tie rods and steering components; new belts; new stereo (have original Becker radio in box); new flex disc at end of drive shaft. Paint was redone 20 years ago and still shines very nice. When I bought this car it had been sitting for 12 years which is why I went through the car mechanically. This is a great deal for the money Just about what I paid before I did all this work. Many cars purchased of this age will need these things done, regardless of the price. This car has it all done and is ready to enjoy.
