For sale here is an extremely clean and well taken care of 1978 chrysler new yorker brougham hardtop. check it out below... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruqpNxp2RjI It only has 70,265 miles which works out to less then 2200 miles per year at 32 years old. The 360 4bbl V8 runs very strong and smooth, no check engine lights, no funny noises/shakes/leaks/knocks or smoke.. plenty of power while not sucking down gas like a 440. It just passed calfornia smog inspection and has the certificate included. The transmission shifts perfectly again no leaks or any other problems. the tires are average but i think it would look much nicer with some whitewalls.. hub caps are also in nice shape. The brakes are good no vibrations or squeels. The steering could use an alignment, power steering works nice and smooth. The paint looks great for it's age, lots of shine, no peeling, oxidation, or anything you would expect on a 32yo car. i't does have a few tiny scratch's. It's not perfect but VERY VERY nice in my opinion. it looks great in an out.. it is 99.9 rust free! it's been a california vehicle it's whole life. Never in a accident either that i can tell. The only rust is by the back window (see pictures). The interior is in excelant condition and needs absolutley nothing, the power seats and locks work and all the windows do as well except the passenger rear window doesn't go down? the A/C controls are missing? but the system is complete and connected i'm not sure if it works or not. cruise control also doesn't seem to work might check the fuse's.. missing a couple of light covers on door panels not a big deal but i try to be as honest as i can. Engine compartment is very clean no leaks that i could find and doesn't leave any stains in my driveway. The registration is valid through december of 2010, it just passed california smog inspection with no problems. All in all this is a beautiful car that is in amazing condition for its age, you could get in it and drive it wherever you want.. use it daily, or take it to local shows on the weekends.. it' isn't perfect but i'm not asking for $10,000 either... if you want something that only needs a little tlc to be perfect then this is it.
