1965 Classic Volkswagen beetle RESTORED !! If you are looking at a 100% original VW Beetle with matching numbers on original 1200 cc ENGINE and TRANSMISSION and 6 volt system in excellent running condition , then YOU HAVE FOUND IT !!!!! EVERYTHING WORKS ON THIS CAR It is quite hard to find these days an ALL ORIGINAL classic, most of the cars for sale up there have modifications or the general condition is not very good including a lot of rust areas at the floor pan or other body parts. THIS BEETLE HAS GONE THROUGH A COMPLETE RESTORATION OVER THE LAST 2 YEARS AND IT IS IN EXCELLENT COSMETIC AND RUNNING CONDITION WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RUST, IS EXTREMELY STRAIGHT AND SUPER CLEAN. I will try to describe the car to the best of my knowledge: ENGINE: -Original 1200cc engine just rebuilt in excellent running condition and very clean. The car starts at the first try at any time, even in the cold mornings. -Car has been driven on highways many times without problems reaching 70 mph. (Original instruction manual shows max. and cruising speed 115 kph / 72 mph) -6 volt -2.5 litters oil capacity BRAKES AND SUSPENSION: -Front and back drums w/ brake pads replaced in 2010. -5 log drums -Suspension in great condition. INTERIOR: -Original front and back seats in red color. -2 tone (white-red) door panels -New gray carpet -New white sun visors -New headliner installed professionally -Original AM Shappire I radio in nice working condition -New door seals -New window scrappers and felts -NO front seatbelts, 2 seatbelts in back seat. -Locking door system in working condition for both doors -Hand brake in working condition -Gas gauge in working condition -Horn is not working, cable and horn is there. ELECTRICAL: -Original 6 volt system in awesome working condition -Turn signals, front lights, back lights and stop lights working -All cables under the front hood in place EXTERIOR: -Never been hit in an accident -Car painted in original light gray (beige) color. Paint is in awesome condition, very shiny with only a small scratch about 2in. at right back fender. -Original OEM front and back windows except for front windshield. -New high quality window seals with chrome trim (All windows) -New headlights -New taillights -New white(beige) fender beading -New tailamp seals -New exhaust tips -Back tires NANKANG 165/80 R15 with 95% life remaining -Front tires REMINGTON 165s R15 with 60% life remaining -Back bumper bended -Original rims painted to match car -New radio antenna -Working wipers -Original VW jack included along with spare tire (tire needs replacement) Well you have read all the goods on this car, everything works !!! REGISTRATION IS EXPIRED JUNE 2010, IF YOU ARE REGISTERING THE CAR IN CALIFORNIA FEES ARE AROUND $65. ORIGINAL SERVICE BOOKLET AND INSTRUCTION MANUAL DATED AUGUST OF 1964 WHERE YOU CAN CHECK THE ENGINE IS OEM FROM THE DEALER. CONDITIONS OF THE SALE: -You can inspect the car in person or pay for a third party inspector within the auction time frames. -A $500 deposit due via PAYPAL within 24 hrs of the auctions ends. After 24 hrs you have 7 days to pay the balance in full. If you do not pay balance in full deposit will not be reimbursed. -If you need the car to be delivered I can drive up to 100 miles with round trip gas expenses paid by the buyer, also you can arrange with any freight company to deliver the car at your place (Cost paid by buyer) -Car is in awesome condition, engine and transmission in great running condition but does not have any warranties.
