Vehicle Detail

You will never find another auto like this one! It is absolutely immaculate. The paint is perfect - no fading and so is the interior. Even the carpeting is perfect under the mats - just look at the pictures. New in the past few months are: Michelin MXV4 tires, Bilstein Sport shocks/struts, Muffler, mats, and Veg Oil conversion. The color is Astro Silver with a Grey bottom. The spare (see the picture) doesn't appear to have ever been on the ground. Absolutely everything works on this car. Everything. It even has the original first aid kit. This car draws huge attention wherever it goes. This is a Greasecar conversion (http://www.greasecar.com/) professionally done by the Good Oil Boys (http://www.goodoilonline.com/GoodOil/Welcome.html). It works flawlessly. The tank is insulated and I added an AC heat pad to the bottom of the tank so that the oil is warm within minutes of starting. In warmer weather, the car is ready to switch over to veg within 5 minutes without plugging in the heater and the same in cold weather as long as the heater is plugged in for a few hours. These older Mercedes warm up quickly and love to run on veg. It typically gets high 20's mpg on either diesel or veg. It is a 13 gallon veg tank, so for my weekly 500 mile round trip commute, I fill the tank before leaving and carry a couple of cubes in the trunk to refill the tank before coming back. Included are all the original manuals for the car and conversion, a parts catalog on CD, 7 engine oil filters, 3 engine fuel filters, and 3 veg oil filters (Fram). I bought the car last winter from an owner in the Chicago area who had bought it the previous Spring (2009) from a family on the West Coast. This family had owned the car since new. Neither he nor I drove the car in snow or ice, so it has never, ever, seen salt. He had to sell due to divorce. Why am I selling it? When I bought it, I needed a big car (and this thing is big - talk about rear seat legroom!) to transport both my elderly (nearly 90 year old) parents around, but still get good mileage because my wife and I live 225 miles apart and I make the trip every weekend to our home where she lives (her job is more demanding than mine). Sadly, a few months after buying it, my father died, so I no longer needed the huge backseat. I love diesels (I have a Dodge Cummins converted to WVO), so I bought a new Jetta TDI, which gets 45 mpg on my weekly round trip. I have close to $20K in the car, including the conversion and upgrades. I'm in no big hurry to sell it, but I don't like to see it sit most of the time. It is always garaged. This is a unique opportunity to own a very unique car that, if you gather and process your own WVO, runs for free!
