1966 Toyota Land Cruiser - Chevy V8 - Arizona Car - No Reserve! Here is a desirable and very sought after, 1966 Toyota Land Cruiser that has spent most, if not all, of its' life in sunny and dry Arizona and it shows! It has the very desirable Chevy V8 conversion already installed. This unique car was part of a nine car collection that we recently purchased from a gentleman who ran into a serious financial situation and had to sell all of his 'babies'! I have crawled under it and thru it and other than a few small blisters on the inside of the rear wheel wells, the body appears otherwise to be absolutely rock solid. I couldn't find any rust anyplace! The floor pans, fenders, and rockers are all original with no patches or replaced sheet metal of any kind! This is the type of car that all restorers and hobbyists dream of starting with and working on! The body is very straight. It doesn't appear to have had any prior accident history and the sheet metal appears to be all original to this car. The original paint color is White and while it is definitely drivable and useable as it is, to be really sharp, it needs and deserves a new paint finish. Includes, what appears to, be an original hardtop and doors with roll up windows, that all need to be restored. You're welcome to it if you want it, otherwise I'll dispose of it. The interior is actually in very decent condition as my photos show. The seat upholstery is in like new condition and appears to be original components. The gauges are clean and most of them work. The speedometer works although the odometer does not. The horn works as do the running lights. According to the prior owner, this was a fully functioning car when he parked it 8 or 9 years ago. We have done some servicing to make it drivable and it does run and drive fairly well, although it may need additional adjustments or attention once you start using it on a daily basis. We replaced both brake and clutch hydraulic master cylinders as well as engine tune up , new battery, etc. The engine runs smooth and quiet and the transmission shifts as it should. The brakes seem OK and the tires have ample tread but have some slight age cracks. The Ramsey winch works great but the control switch and cable is missing. The exhaust is quiet. The Lock-out hubs work good and the 4-wheel drive appears to be in great shape! Please keep in mind that it has been sitting for a number of years and some additional servicing may be needed once it's put back in service. These older Toyota Land Cruisers are super popular and are great investment potential Collector cars that can do nothing but skyrocket in value in the coming years.
