Relisted due to a non- paying ebayer, please only bid if you have intentions to buy. Up for grabs is a gorgeous one owner 1960 Dodge Dart Pioneer. This car was special ordered by my grandfather on 5-14-1960 at Hester Motors inc. The paperwork I have on this car is unreal.I have never seen as much orginal paperwork on any other car for sale this age. I have the original order slip that was filled out when picking out options. I have the owners service certification, vehicle invoice,paperwork telling about adjusting the seats,certified car care plan, original owners manual, WINDOW STICKER, warranty coupon, a magazine from 1959 introducting the new 60 dart, paper work on the first oil change and much much more. Plus all the paperwork i have is in brandnew condition. When my grandfather died the car was signed over to my grandmother,when my grandmother passed, it was signed over to me.I love this car but I have no room for it anymore and I will not let it sit outside to rot away.As you can see with the paperwork, my grandfather took car of everything that he had.This car was no acception. Many moons ago before my grandfather passed the car was repainted and the front seat and headliner was redone. As you can see in the pictures the back seat is starting to come undone in the corners.I started waxing the car with really good wax and a high speed buffer and stoped with the trunk.So the rest of the car can look as just as good. The car was bought in Boonville, Indiana, then moved to Columbas, Geroiga, then moved here to Tampa, Fl.The car has been stored in a garage since bought. The car has a V8 318 engine and a auto push button trans. The car was drove about once a week untill 2003.At that time the car was brought in for serivce at McWilliams auto in peachtree GA. $873.64 was spent tuning the car up. Spark plugs, battery, wires, starter, replace points, radiator flush,brakes, oil change and much more. Since that time the car has been sitting in the garage with it not being driven.Fuel stabilizer was added to have no problems with sitting I started the car up for the first time about three weeks ago and she fired right up.I took the car down to the gas station which is only about 1/2 mile and she drove fine.It did smoke some, which I don't know why becuase it never did before so I dont know what the problem is. Maybe it just needs to be driven, im not sure. All the lights work on the car. And is in very good condition I would consider for the year.Like any car that is unrestored it does have rust.I tried to show in pics. It also has rust on the bottom side.The car is very solid.I would consider this car to being a "driver" or a good starter car for a restoration. Feel free to stop by and look at it if you like.You dont see many of these cars anymore. Unless you live extremely close I would advise you not to drive the car home, untill everything was checked over and a good tune up was done.The tires on it are older and with it sitting since 2003 I dont want you to break down for a silly reason.Althought the car never gave me trouble or left me stranded.
