Ride and pull with pride. This truck dazzles and delights at every turn. Featuring the bullet proof and bone stock 7.3 diesel, 4x4 with Warn hubs, low recreational only miles, spacious crew cab with seating for six wrapped in soft leather and Sherrod custom modifications make this truck a one of a kind. There has to be over $12,000 in extras from the custom leather seating to the matching bed cap to the grille to the sun visor and rain guards to the polished aluminum running boards to the paint scheme. The graphics are NOT decals but layers of rich mirror like paint depicting the endless road. The extra cladding around the front wheel wells help balance the rear wheel fenders and give it a muscular stance. Besides the leather, the interior upgrades include wood like trim and ceiling lighting. This truck has obviously been well loved. I visited the home of the former owner's and saw the garage where this baby has been housed. They are an upscale, non smoking couple that pulled a camper to warmer climes. From the clear headlights to the lack of any sun fading you can tell this has spent most of its life under cover. As a 7.3 enthusiast who scours the country for rare finds like this I was delighted to acquire this stellar truck and bring it back to my private shop and have my mechanic take it to the next level. Recent work includes: six matching tires, brakes and rotors all around, tranny and engine fluids (including top end of motor), Monroe gas shocks, Interstate batteries, ball joints, alignment and replacement of the inner steel wheels with alloys. The transmission has a rebuilt tag on it, not sure when. Shifts and drives perfectly. Awarded state inspection sticker with no issues. Would happily drive any distance with confidence. Every button and feature works as it should. Glass is all crystal clear and crack and chip free. Comes with three ignition keys, two cap keys, no fob, original manuals. Amazingly rattle and squeek free. Even over rough roads it is as quite as a tomb. AM/FM/TAPE/CD, cold A/C, trailer brake and mirrors that extend for towing. Overall I would rate this truck a 9.9 out of 10. Only deduct is for a small wrinkle in tailgate where it says "Sherrod" and minor wear on drivers seat - see pictures. Even under the weatherstripping at the bottom of the doors there is zero rust. The sides don't even show a parking lot ding. Of course there are a few minor stone chips here and there and small marks on the rear fender wells. But you have to look close to see them. Alloy wheels are decent with only minor blemishes on two of them. There are no wear indications on the steering wheel, center console, dashboard or window sill. Undercarriage has been undercoated to preserve this classic for years to come. Why spend $60-$70,000 buying new with all the trouble the pollution control smothered , low MPG 6 series diesels have? Nothing touches the 7.3 for durability, reliability and economy. This one is barely broken in and has no leaks, smoke, shakes, stains, smells or issues of any kind.
