1972 Datsun 240Z -22,850 orginial miles -Orange Color -Black Leather interior -Two owners -Clear title, never wrecked, no body damage ever -Garaged the entire time Description: This car belonged to my dad for many years. He was the second owner. The car is a true "Z" collector's item. It's been stored in a garage since it was purchased by the first owner. It does have a few minor flaws which I pictured... The front has a small "paint chip" on it which a body shop could fix easily. The other body flaw it has a couple "dime size" SMALL indents. It does not burn oil. It does not leak oil, or any other fluids. It comes with the original tires, all four, which are pictured. The leather interior is in great condition. It comes from a smoke free, and animal free owner, so it has zero odd smells. It still smells brand new. The engine has been taken care of extensively. It was detailed regularly, which you can see from the pictures. The battery was recently replaced for the new future owner. It does not leak anywhere, and does not have rust anywhere that I can see of. All electronics appear to be in perfect working condition including all light bulbs. The heater also works like a champ! Reason I'm selling is my father recently passed, and my mom has no use for it. I tried my absolute best to explain the car to you from what I know of it, as well as other family members. I'm no car expert, but I'm confident my explanation of the car is very accurate, and you won't be disappointed! If someone would like to have a private party inspection done, I'm open to the idea, but all fees will be left up to the protential buyer. I'm throwing this update in because I'm quite a few of the same questions over and over.... 1) The miles. The miles are a true 22,850. It has NOT rolled over, I guarantee and promise you that. I want to make sure everyone knows this car looks and seriously smells brand new. 2) The title. It is 100% clear. No salvage, no wrecks, nothing. 3) Has is ever had body work? NO. It's all original paint, no body work. Never been in any accidents, not even a small fender bender. 4) Reserve on the auction? I'd rather not disclose that right now. Lets just say I put a price on it that I feel is fair market value. 5) Underside rust? Or ever had underside coating? From what I can see, I don't see rust. Without taking it somewhere that can lift the car in the air, I can confidently say it does not have rust on the underside or on the floor boards. No, it has never had any type of coating done to it. 6) Buy it now price? I don't have one. I have a reserve and would prefer to keep it at that. YES. 8) Any type of paint work done to the body? Same as above, no. No body work ever done. 9) Can you get more pictures? Yes. I'm confident someone good at painting cars could paint it for a very minor amount. 11) Do all gauges work, speedometer, etc.... YES. There is zero flaws with gauges or any other electrical. It's approximately 1" tear. I'm sorry I didn't notice this earlier. Pictured: Rear speaker. From what I understand this is the rear speaker that people have been asking to see. Pictured: What looks like a tape or "8" track under the driver's seat. Again, I'm not sure if this is original or something that comes with the car.
