Hello and meet Flavio, one of the cutest, nicest, well preserved original Fiat X1/9's around. He has just over 76,000 well documented miles with an unbelieveable service history. I have just relisting due to a non paying bidder. Please be an honest Ebayer and only bid if you plan to follow through with the purchase. Flavio doesnt deserve to have his heart broken again. We purchased him for my wife from the original owner, a neighbor as he was a retired engineer and was getting a little to old to drive him. Now, due to her back and hip surgeries, she is unable to get in and out of him let alone drive the stick shift, so I guess we also need to find a good home for him. Being an engineer, the original owner meticulously maintained him and kept very detailed hand written notes about him. We also have the original registration, All service records dating back to 1978, owners manual, workshop manual, original bill of sale and ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER. He wears his original Silver paint which is in very nice shape. The only blemish is a quarter sized shopping cart ding at the bottom of the right rear tail lamp near the bumper which is not very visible, however it could be taken out with a paintless dent repair if desired. The top is perfect the interior pretty near perfect, even the dash and console are great. All gauges and switches work perfect. Tires are new, all mechanicals have been meticlously serviced and he needs nothing- he runs and drives perfect. We also just got a California smog certificate to make sure he can be transferred to the new owner, and he passed perfectly! He doesnt leak, smoke, and shifts perfectly through the gears. All the rubber is very nice. Need I say more? By the way, if you are the high bidder you need to contact me within 24 hours from auction end. I was able to have someone go over to where he is stored , looked at the paperwork and the code is 656 which would correspond to a special Silver Paint, which as stated in the ad, is the original paint on the car.
