Vehicle Detail
THIS IS A 2002 TRIUMPH DAYTONA 955 FUEL INJECTED TRIPLE, IT RUNS, DRIVES AND SHIFTS SMOOTH, IT IS A SIX SPEED, MECHANICALLY SOUND, Cosmetically the fairings need to be repainted, I painted them and the clear coat didn't turn out, don't think I used enough because I didn't want it to run, had a cheap paint gun also, but have realized painting is not my best skill. Anyways this bike was a theft/vandalism, the rear fairings were broken and the key lock for the rear seat was damaged beyond repair. I replaced these parts along with the seats. I also replaced the stator, the regulator/rectifier, and the battery, bike is ready to go, tires are decent, should be good for another 2-4k depending on how you drive it. I let this bike fall over when I was loading it one day, not too happy about that, but, it fell on the right side and cracked the upper fairing and damaged the top of the right side fairing, broke the right mirror also, the left is still good. There was no damage to the bike besides the rear fairings when I bought it, so it has not been laid down, except for me, lost my footing and didn't want the bike to fall on me. This motorcycle has lots of power and is balance like a 600 sportbike, used to have an honda F4, smooth low range with powerful mid to high range rpm's. This bike was a project and was going to lower it for my wife, she wants something smaller, I thought it would be fine as it is easy to stand up and balance, anyways has to go, have too many things going on, I got it silver but as I said earlier didn't turn out the best, looks fine at night, in the sunlight you can kind of notice it. I will add more pictures in a day or two, thanks. I uploaded some more pictures, mostly of the right side, the last picture is damage around the area where the key lock is, there were a couple of small marks on the frame that is just covered with filler, can be removed fairly easily, it looks like the frame got marked with a flat blade screwdriver, also you can see the marks on the subframe.
