1964 Cadillac Series 62 2-door hardtop. The only known issues are the fuel guage does not always read accurately. The car could use new exhaust manifolds, both have cracks in them and the factory Comfortron Heat and Air Conditioning system is not hooked up. It is all there, just not functioning. The only reason I am selling this car is so I can get to work on my newly acquired 1940 Ford Coupe. I have owned this car for 4 years and it has been an excellent driver. Arizona and Texas car up to about 10 years ago. 115,000 actual miles. New transmission ($1,800.00 worth) complete with documentation 15,500 miles ago. Manual windows, power door locks, recent exhaust system. Car should pass most any states’ vehicle safety inspection. All lights, turn signals, wipers, horn, backup lights, power antenna, cornering lights etc function properly. The outside was painted 3 years ago inj single stage Centari GM white enamel paint. The roof is silver metalflake with 5 coats of House of Color Candy Oriental blue with overlays of patterns of lace. The paint job on the roof alone would cost you over 2,200.00 today. The interior is all original blue cloth. The seats really need to be reupholstered but look fine with the Mexican blankets on them. The tires have about 7,000 miles on them. The front wheels are period perfect Astro Supremes. The rear wheels are stock and do not show with the hand crafted custom made rear skirts. The engine is the original Cadillac 429 c.i. V-8 and runs great and will use about ½ a quart of oil between oil changes @ every 3,000 miles. This car has made several 400-600 mile round trips with no issues. I tuned the car with plugs, wires, air cleaner, brakes etc after I purchased the car. New belts, hoses, tie-rod ends and all wheel bearings both front and rear make this car a most dependable cruiser. I intend to sell this car on this auction. The reserve on the car is set very low, even in today’s market. Don’t ask what it is, bid fair and bid often.
