I bought this truck in 2004 and drove it for a year. In 2005 this truck was in an accident and was not reparable in the eye of the insurance company. I bought the truck back and stripped it to the frame. Put it on an alignment rack and made sure there was no damage to the frame. Frame was still true so I then decided to rebuild the truck to be a sled puller or drag race truck. The engine was rebuilt costing $4700. I then rebuilt the transmission putting a larger input shaft in so that i could follow it with a double disk south bend clutch. ATS fireringed the head and put oversized valves in, the cam and injectors are from Triple D Performance. I replaced the stock turbo with a Silver Bullet 66mm turbo and put an AFE Stage II cold air intake in front of the turbo. I added a Snow Performance Water/methanol injection system and bought a Nitrous Express Digital Nitrous Kit for the truck which has not been put on but will go with the truck. After a year of successful sled pulls and multiple wins I sent the clutch and turbo off to be rebuilt for another year of pulling. Due to work and the economy i have not been able to make more than 3 pulls in the past couple years. I would like the truck to go to someone who is interested in having a great sled pulling truck or a headstart at having a diesel drag truck. The truck still runs great and I drive it from time to time to keep things lubricated. I have the recipes for most all the parts on the truck and the engine rebuild at 129,624 miles.
