All original 1960 AMC Rambler Super Cross Country Station Wagon, Economy car originally from Southern California, this car runs and drives great with 83, 500 original miles on its Straight 6, 3 speed on the Column with Overdrive Transmission, original Carter Single-Barrel Carburetor. I bought the car from a reputable antique car salesmen last autumn. Has new 15 in. radial tires, good working brakes, lights, signals, wipers, fan and horn. The Rambler is very easy to drive with tight turning radius, sporty compact body and gas efficiency. Gas tank has been checked and is rust free, there is minimal surface rust on the body panels and the under carriage is good. The front floorboards have been patched but there is rust in the floorboards, front and back. The car has seat belts for 6 passengers though the seats are pretty rough and need to be covered. The front seats recline back completely and the back seat folds forward to make the whole cab a huge bed that could sleep a family on a road/ camping trip. The car really only needs the floorboards fixed and exhaust work to make it a reasonable daily driver. All the window glass is good, clear and in good working order. all the trim is there. This car would make a great winter project for someone to have ready to tour and cruise next warm season, or leave as is rough and raw.
