Vehicle Detail

For Sale: 1964 220 seb coupe, currently British Racing Green. Originally Oyster Beige. European model including headlights and speedometer (kilometers), manual floor shift, manual sunroof, and manual windows. The car does not run. It has been sitting for over ten + years. The mechanics need to be gone through. The clutch is stuck. The engine is missing one fuel injector. Otherwise the car is basically complete. Windows operate manually and could use a little exercise, and lubrication. Sunroof operates ok. I had a little trouble locking it closed when I took the photos the other day. The front windshield has a small crack on the passenger side. The seal is original and needs replacing, as does the rear window glass rubber. You can see some water damage in some of the photos. The wood dash is a little rough. Its all there but has water and sun damage. The chrome on the car is all there. The chrome is flaking off of the grill housing. The rear bumper has some rust showing. The car has unfortunately been neglected. I bought it about five years ago to fix up and drive. It's time to give someone else a chance to get this lovely car back on the road. Paint is getting tired.Looks decent from ten feet; needs buffing and detail to look better -has a few issues as seen in photos. A few rust bubbles on the right fender, low, infront of the door. Right rear quarter panel is showing paint failure as seen in photo. There is rust showing at the front wheel wells, under the front bumper and a little in the trunk at drivers side as seen in photos.Needs tires. Has later stainless hubcaps, and aftermarket radio w/ power antenna.Has sheepskin seat covers, and a spare pair of euro lights.Tail lights are U.S. spec.( no amber turn indicator lense). Tail lights are in great shape. Leather upholstery was redone probably 15 years ago or so, locally in Ventura. The leather is dry and needs conditioning as well as repair in a couple areas, as shown in photos. If you are interested in this car be prepared to put some work into it. I've seen some of these cars completely restored and they are gorgeous...., and not cheap. This is not a poor mans car.If you are looking at this you already know this. I am very happy to discuss this car at length if you are interested in her. Leave me a message at 805 798-1146. Thanks for looking. Dana Champion
