Vehicle Detail
Here is a 1982 Ford Broco XLT Lariat that is a HUNTERS DREAM! I purchased this vehicle just to put around in on the weekends and its great to ride around in when the top is off and the weather is nice. Anyways here is everything I know about this vehicle and I will happily answer any questions about the Bronco. The Bronco passed inspection and has been registered within the last year! The Body: Very straight and absolutely no rust. It has been in Texas all its life (I have all the registration history from Auto Check). The body has been wrapped in "Realtree" Camo wrap. It is not paint. It could be removed but there was some prep work done to make sure the wrap would stick properly (removal of all emblems and so sanding in places to ensure the wrap would not tear). However the body is very straight with no dents or dings at all. I have had a new front windshield installed about 6 months ago. The rear sliding glass is currently not in, however I have a brand new rear glass and rear glass motor still in the box that comes with the Bronco. I have had a quote of $90 to install the rear glass FYI. I also have the top. It has been painted flat black. I keep the Bronco inside and I have had the top off all summer. Motor and Transmission: The motor is a 6 cylinder 4.9L and has a 4 speed manual transmission. The motor is rock solid and runs quite and is reliable to start every time! I have had the carburetor rebuilt, I put in a new water pump about a month ago because the pulley to the water pump was grinding a little. But it really does run good and smooth, it actually has suprising amount of power, the transmission shifts smooth! The 4x4 works great. Just lock the hubs and either 4 high or 4 low engages with no grinding at all! I have also redone both front, rear, and parking brake. The front has new pads, the back has new shoes and brake cylinders. The interior: Clean interior! Vinyl floors. There are a couple spots where the vinyl has split in the floor board. The seats are all covered with camo seat covers but underneath they look new. They are comfortable and have the arm rests which a lot of these model broncos did not have. The AC Blows Blows cold but has never been converted to R134. However it does work and that is hard to find in an old Bronco! The radio is an older cassette player but it works fine. I was just about to put a cd player and some speakers in it but I have decided to let it go.(There is just so much you can spend)! Other info: The Bronco uses a little bit of oil (maybe a half a quart between changes) but does not black smoke, just pretty common in a vehicle this old. You can tell by looking at it that it has been well taken care of. I do not have to make any excuses for it. Its all there and is ready to go to the hunting lease or just to have as a weekend warrior. I have given all the information I can think of and included a lot of pictures. I am not going to put a reserve on the Bronco. HOWEVER, I do have it for sale locally so even though you are on top, it might not be a sale. I will try to remove the listing if I sale it locally but some ebay policies could prohibit me from doing such. I will put a "by it now price that I feel is very fair. However, I listed it to sale! Good luck!! Winning bidder will be required to pay for vehicle at time of pick-up and will be furnished a clear Texas title. We also have vehicle transports that can deliver the vehicle with additional costs.
