Vehicle Detail

1966 Ford Mustang with the original 289 and 3 speed manual transmission. I bought the car a few months ago with hopes to restore but since have found out that we have a baby on the way so of course this baby has to go. I am NOT going to put a reserve on this car. I will be a descriptive as I can, feel free to email with any questions or if you want more pictures. 289 3 Speed manual that are the originals from '66. The 289 has an Edelbrock Carb, other than that it is all stock and unrestored. Car had a new clutch put in, new fuel tank, new blower and ducting. The car needs to be restored but for 1966 looks pretty good. The body has rust on the rear quarters and some on the doors and misc places. The floor boards do have rust but are NOT rusted through and etc. The trunk is not rusted through either. Interior wise..carpet looks brown from fading but is still the original black carpet. Door panels are in decent/good shape. Dash of course is faded some but overall in good shape. Gauges and lights work. Only interior parts that aren't original are the seats and the radio was removed..(to where, I have NO idea!) As I said, the car needs restored but for an unmolested/unrestored 66 it looks good and runs great! Title is clear and in hand. Email with any questions. Good bidding. Yes, it does run and drive great. I drive it roughly 2-3 times a week to work just to get compliments and watch people look! (Yes, even unrestored you will get lots of compliments) It's so original it still has all 4 original hubcaps!! On Sep-14-10 at 09:57:18 PDT, seller added the following information:I was wrong when I said this was probably the original 4 lug. It is a 5 lug car as most V8s were. Thanks
