1976 Honda Gold Wing

1976 "Naked" Goldwing. Bike is well on it's way to being restored. To date, I've got almost $3000.00 invested in it, mostly all mechanical. The list is long as to what has been replaced, but includes: New front and rear tires New gas tank, gas lines and gas filter and a new fuel guage sensor Carbs have been professionally rebuilt Most all cables have been replaced New hi-performance battery (gel style) Cooling system including alll new hoses, gasket and thermostat Most all cables have been replaced Front brake calipers have been rebuilt including new pads and brake lines Front fork seals and dust seals have been replaced and fork lowers have been polished New timing belts and timing belt cover gaskets New hi performance coils and spark plug wires and a complete tune up Charging system is perfect The bike is well on the way to being restored. The paint is good for a bike that's gonna be 35 years old. To restore it completely, some of the chrome would need to be replaced or re-chromed and the bike completely repainted. The gauges are in great shape and are not faded or cracking, The header pipes and exhause are aftermarket, the original exhaust system was too rusted to repair. They were purchased here on ebay and are used, but in great condition. There are some cosmetic flaws, but it has been well maintained and is ridden almost daily. It is very roadworthy and I wouldn't be afraid to ride it cross country. I am the third owner and I know the first and second owner. NOTE: Thanks to you that provided info regarding this bike. When I placed the ad, I was under the impression it was a Limited Edition, but a little skeptical. Before I placed the ad, I checked with and was informed by the original owner that it was in fact a LE. Obviously, he was misinformed by the dealer when he purchased it new in 1976. Sorry for the confusion.
