Up for sale is my 1968 Volvo 1800s I will do my best to describe the car and it's condition. I pride myself on being up front andhonest in all that I do. I bought this car about a few months ago, with the intent to finish restoring it and having a fun weekend driver.I just don't have the time and money to finish it and would love to get my garage back ... The car is 85% ready for her next paint job.I am also selling a complete rebuilt engine and a new old stock J type overdrive, see my other auctions.I also have a lot of extra parts bought earlier for this restoration will list some but don't hesitate to ask.THE CAR:This is one of the nicest rust free 1800s that I have come across, that has not been fully restored.The car is straight and rust free. It shows no signs of any accidents, that I can see. There is one dent on the trunk lid where somethingfell over on to the back of the car. very minor and could be fixed very easy.(see photos) the car is part white, and part primer color.the original color is a cream white.EXTERIOR:The trim is mostly there. it is missing one side of the front trim from the head light to the door handle. it is also missing the frontand rear emblems. All window and glass are in good shape with no cracks or chips. the bumpers are there with brackets. 17x7 American Racing Torqlite wheels with brand new Toyo Proxes 4 tires.INTERIOR:Most of the interior as been removed for the paint job. I still have most of the trim pieces but since I was planning on redoing everything inside I wasn't really careful when removing them so the backing cardboard is in poor shape. The dash looks good and has been recovered. The seats are in need of stitching. the back jump seat need new webbing under the the padding. The gauges seem to be working, but I have not check them all. The only ones I have had time to check was the speedo, tach and fuel. the carpet is fair and could be cleaned up.ENGINE:The car runs and drives. It seems to start fine. But I have not driven it more then around the parking lot. it does not have any aircleaners right now. The mech fuel pump has been bypassed, and it has an electric fuel pump. The rear wheel bearings have just beenredone. the front has not been done but seem to be in good shape.BOTTOM LINE:I am just trying to get out of it and get some money for a daily driver. This car is being sold as is. Winning bidder pays all shipping cost. $500 deposit due with in 48 hours of end of auction. The balance is due with in 7 day of the end of auction and prior to the car pick up.
