jdyarbrou1 store For Sale 1965 Corvair Corsa Convertible 6 Cyl (original motor) 140 HP 4 Speed car. I just bought this Corsa from an estate sale. Exterior is Green and Interior is Tan and Beige. The Corsa has just under 52,000 miles. The Corsa has been off the road since 1971. I have the motor running after cleaning up the gas tank and carburetors changing the plugs/wires and oil. The car will lot drive as the brakes do work. This is a very nice project car and will not take much to make it a beautiful running Corsa Convertible. The convertible top is going to need replacing and the the paint is cracking and checking from so many years of storage. The there are a couple of dents on the rear quarters and one on passenger door that will need attention (from the storage facility - had it stored very tightly). The good news is there is no rust through holes that i have found. Again this is a project but will be pretty easy to get it back on the road. I had thought about sanding down the paint and repairing the 2-3 dents and putting a Macco paint job on it but decided to leave it to the new owner to decide what direction to take this great car. I just received my new Hemming's and low and behold on the front page of this month's magazine is an article on how great an investment the Corvair is for the future and this is the best of the Corvairs. It is a Corsa Convertible 4 speed with 140 HP. The Corsa still has four 6:50 x 13 Bias Ply Tires that look brand new but of course are at least 39 years old. Two hold air and two do not. I HAVE ALSO FOUND THE BUILD SHEET FORM UNDER THE REAR SEAT. The interior cleaned up in about one hour to what you see in the pictures. There are black marks on the rear seat from where tires were stored on it for most likely the 39 years. The front windshield is broken and will need replacing. You will need to find two secondary Carbs as they were removed and capped on the intake manifold (1970's anyone remember gas shortages so maybe trying to conserve, your guess is as good as mine). I have cleaned the gas tank but you may want to go over it again, brakes should be looked at and fluids exchanged, tires most likely. The NADA on this car is: Low 4725 Mids 10,200 High 15,400. I have other pictures or you can request something and i will take them and send them to you. IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT HE CORSA HAS THE TELESCOPING STEERING WHEEL AND WOODEN WHEEL OPTION. Clear PA Title in hand. Shipping costs are at the buyers expense. I ALSO HAVE A COMPLETE MOTOR MOST LIKELY 90 OR 110 HP AS IT HAS TWO CARB THAT WILL GO WITH THE CORSA IF THE BUYER WOULD LIKE IT. IT IS MISSING THE CARBS AND AIR CLEANER BUT IS FREE TURNING AND WOULD MOST LIKELY NEED REBUILDING.(pictures on request) I have other classics for sale to be put up so ask and maybe i have what you want.
