Up for bid is a 1979 HONDA CBX 6 cylinder Super Sport motorcycle. It looks worse than it really is. Everything is there that I can see. True miles are unknown do to speedo must have been changed at some point. Speedo is showing 58,510. It should be a 140mph speedo not a 80mph speedo. It has a 6 into 1 exhaust header that is in so-so cond. It has surface rust but could be blasted and coated or wrapped and reused. I'm told that it has part of the Euro Sport Kit (the short 4" tall) handlebars on it and that they are quite in demand by themselves.The tank is trashed (rotted) but the cap and petcock are ok. I don't know anything about the motor. It was sitting for a while so I wanted to check the engine. After filling the cylinders with MM oil the engine does spin free (by hand). This bike will need a complete going through or could be a parts bike for someone. This is a no warranty no return auction so look at the photos and ask questions befor you bid. I perfer NOT to crate this bike for shipping but if a bidder out of the USA was to win I could at a extra cost. I can meet YOUR shipper at my home to turn bike over for shipping. I require a $200.00 non refundable paypal deposit at the end of the auction. Balance to be paid by U.S. Post Office. Money order so as to avoid high transfer fees.
