This chevelle Malibu S.S. was restored, it is not a clone. The original 327 was removed & replaced with a 350 four bolt main engine. This engine has a mild summit cam & elderbrock carb, jetted to the engine. The transmission is a stock, original muncie 4 speed(rebuilt) & the rear differential is a stock 12 bolt unit. A hurst shifter changes the gears. Chassis components were replaced as needed. The body looks good & straight, and the glass is tinted green. All the supersport emblems are on this car, as they were in 1965. The interior is new, as is the carpeting. A new headliner was not installed, but is available. The car was undercoated, thruout its interior. The exhaust system is new(duals), factory items. After restoration, this car was PA. inspected & driven to car shows, all summer long. This car runs good, on the street or thruway, All the gauges operate, and this muscle car is fun to drive, with smooth power. The gas mileage is good, not a gas hog.The mags are American Mags(14in), the front tires are new. I presently drive this car just about everyday. Overall it seems nice for a restored 65 car.And this car has been driven approx. 3000 miles since it was restored.(after re-stored mileage). Also, this car was machine sanded, painted gold & covered with clear. Looked sharp at the car shows.
