Up for Auction is a Beautiful 1966 Buick Riviera. I purchased this vehicle from the Original Owner in Washington State. Garaged Kept and Pampered for its 44 years, the car was in Rust Free and Nice Driving condition at time of purchase. The original Owners, Mr. and Mrs G, bought this car brand new on Oct 2 1965, as recorded in the original owners manual. From the looks and feel of the Riviera, it was regularly maintained by the couple and driven as their daily driver. I don't know if the 425 ci engine or the Turbo-Hydramatic 3 speed transmission were ever rebuilt, as their were no records of any major mechanical work performed. The engine runs as smooth as silk with no noises, or leaks, and does not burn oil. The Transmission shifts smooth and has no leaks or issues. Paint Job is a Nice Driver Quality, and very presentable, however please note that this is not a Show Quality Paint Job. Front and Rear Bumpers are also Driver Quality, with No Dents. All Gauges work, including Barrel Speedometer, Fuel, Amp, and Oil Pressure Gauge. Directional Signals, Dash Lights, Radio, and Interior Lights all in working condition. Hideaway Headlights also in fine working order. Car also has Tilt Steering Wheel. Glass all in very nice shape, and windows roll up and down with ease. Tires are P225-75 R15 Radials and look to be in almost New Condition. Brakes were recently done, and are excellent. Trunk is in nice condition, and has spare tire and jack, and Brand New Trunk Seal. Interior Headliner is original, and in nice shape, with no rips or tears. OPG Seat Covers and Carpet Brand New. Car has the complete set of original seat belts. Door Panels are Original, and in Nice Condition. Car Undercarriage and Frame very Clean and Rust Free, (see pics.) Dual Exhaust System is Solid. Drive this car on the Open Highway with all the Windows Rolled Down, and you really feel like you're back in a time warp. These Second Generation Rivieras are coming on strong,and are Gaining Popularity. I believe that they are the Best Looking and Driving Rivieras ever made, with the Low Slung Look, the Space Age Interior, and Superior Drivetrain and Suspension.
