Vehicle Detail

1969 Dodge Dart Custom in very original condition. This is a California car that was moved to Utah, which is where I bought it from. I had plans the restore the car (which won't take much), but I just don't have the time. The car runs and drives, but needs brake work. There is very minor surface rust on the underside and along the bottom edges of the rockers. It was not undercoated from the factory, so this is why it has surface rust. All body / floor panels are solid and there is no bondo. The inside of the trunk floor has a couple of spots of surface rust. There was newspaper stored under the trunk mat (Santa Barbara News-Press 1978). There are minor dents on the body with the largest (three) on the right side... two in the front fender and on in the quarter. The 225 engine runs good and does not smoke. The transmission also shifts good. All of the electrical system is in working order with the exception of the horn. The dash guage cluster works as well. All of the glass in in great condition, but the windshield has a very small chip on the drivers side. The grill and headlight bezels are excellent. The interior is in good shape with the dash pad being in excellent condition. As you can tell from the photos, the seats will need to be recovered. I don't have the key for the trunk lock, but I have bought another lock that will go with the car... I just don't have the time to install it. I had to remove the rear seat to gain access to the trunk lock, so the seat is temporarily installed. I have a clear Utah title. Please look at the photos closely and if you need one from a certain angle, I will be happy to take it. I will assist in helping you find a transporter, but you are responsible for all costs associated with its move. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction close and will be paid through PayPal. The remaining balance will be paid with a cashiers check within 7 days from auction end. All funds must clear before the car is released. Thanks for looking.
