Vehicle Detail

1973 73 CHEVY CAMARO SS HUGGER ORANGE 350 LOWERED FOOSE Up for auction is a beautiful Type LT Hugger Orange 1973 Chevrolet Camaro. Solid straight body with a new Hugger orange paint job. Paint is single stage polyurethane with integrated clear coat. Although the paint looks very nice is does have some minor flaws. The stripes are 3M decaling from Phoenix Graphics. They can be removed if desired. Split bumper, front and rear spoilers have been added for the "SS" look. Exterior body, floor pans and bed are solid with no rust. Drivers side floor has a patch pan. The bumpers are original, good driver quality. All of the chrome trim is original, complete in great shape. Wheels are brand new Foose Nitrous with brand new Nexen 245/45/17 low pro tires. This Camaro has a 350 small block with a Turbo 350 three speed automatic transmission. According to the previous owner the motor has been rebuilt with approximately 25,000 miles on it. It sounds and runs great. Motor was given a mild street build: 8.5:1 compression, RV cam, stock bottom end. Turn key car runs great with no apparent issues. It has Carter AFB 4V carburetor and a Holley Streetmaster 4V aluminum intake manifold. New parts include: True dual exhaust 2.25" exhaust system with headers and glass pack mufflers, stainless steel headers, aluminum valve covers, HIPO flex fan, distributor and wires, water pump, battery. It also has been converted to HEI ignition for better starting and performance. The transmission was also rebuilt around the same time as the motor and shifts great with no problems. Interior is in nice shape. Seats have been re-upholstered, new carpet installed. New upper door panels and headliner. New B&M Quicksilver shifter. Factory tilt steering column. Original dash is in good shape with no cracks. Windows roll up and down fine. Turn signals, wipers, dome lamp work fine. Stereo is a Crate tape deck with dual 6x9's IPOD ready. Heater and air conditioning have been disconnected. Front power disc brakes work great. Power steering car. I was told the rear end is a 3:73 positrac. New front suspension installed including bushings, shocks, lowering springs. Air shocks and rear shackles have been installed in the rear. Car has been lowered 3" in the rear and 2" up front. Rides very stiff like a race car. Front tires are little too large and sometimes rub the inner fender when making turns. This problem can be alleviated by running smaller tires up front. Trunk is very clean with no rust. Clean and clear title in had. VERY LOW RESERVE! BID TO WIN!. Just to be clear this is not a show car so please bid accordingly. Regardless this is still a great driver car that will make a great investment both financially and avocationally. Please do not hesitate to email me with specific questions you may have or for additional photos as I have plenty! Arrangements to inspect the car in person are welcome and encouraged. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS WELCOME! Buyer is responsible for pick up and transportation of vehicle. I will assist in the arrangement of pick up.
