2003 Toyota Corolla S, 5spd manual shift, Slate Gray and dark charcoal interior, just under 85,000 miles... has power windows/locks/mirrors, keyless entry, AM/FM/CD/CASS, power tilt/slide sunroof w/shade, cruise control, spoiler, fog lights, side skirts, 4way adjustable drivers' seat, tilt steering, alloy wheels... fair condition, everything works, vehicle runs great... however, needs a manual transmission. rebuilt or replaced? I still owe/make payments (balance $5100 due to my lien holder). Massachusetts title, clean. This is NOT savalged/rebuilt/flood damaged vehicle or branded title... Bank has approved sale, and title will be expedited to the buyer! Its a two owner vehicle. purchased in 2005 with roughly 28k miles on it, from Toyota dealer... it was listed in their inventory as Toyota Certified but I didnt pay for the certification, so there is unfortunately no powertrain warranty to cover the transmission failure. The clutch and everything else checks out good. The vehicle will move, but the first few gears have a tendency to grab, grind, and lock/freeze... so it will have to be towed upon purchase. The vehicle is being stored at the dealership I work for, and available for show by appointment only. The dealership has made an offer of $3500 towards the purchase of any vehicle (which they also agreed to sell at net cost, so this is "actual cash value" NOT an over-allowance). I believe the vehicle is worth more in its current condition. Repairs are estimated at $900-$1600 depending on parts and labor rates... your mechanic may do even better! or if you are a mechanic, you just found a sweeet deal! owners manual included!
