This is a very rare 68 Camaro SS 396ci 375 horsepower, 4-speed, and 4:10 posi, power disc brakes. This car was also equpped with the rare "deep-tone" muffler option. This Camaro has 25,267 original miles and is one of 4,575 built. The original dealer invoice, Protect-O-Plate, Warranty booklet, and Owner's manual are still with the car. All the paperwork is in excellent condition. The second owner had this Camaro 37 years. It absolutely has the original matching #'s engine, square port heads, intake manifold, alternator, etc. The original 4.10 posi is still present (BV code stamped on axle). The original trans was replaced with a M-22 in the late 70's. This Camaro runs and drives great, and is extremely fast. The braking system was recently redone, rebuilt original 4-piston calipers, etc. This Camaro has never been exposed to salt. Floor pans and trunk floor are in excellent condition. No rust in top of dash area, and still has the original windshield. Never been wrecked or cut up. This Camaro was repainted once in the early 80's. Paint is fair and needs redone. The original seats are in excellent condition. The modifications to the car were done in the mid 70's, but are all bolt-on. It has a holley 850 double pumper (recently rebuilt), Mickey Thompson valve covers, Hooker headers, Accel Ignition, Lakewood bell housing, Hurst Shifter. These original parts replaced by aftermarket ones are long gone. Two of the original wheels and the four original hubcaps are still around and are included.The car also still has it's original T3 headlamps and AM radio.
