I am selling a 1972 Ford LTD Convertible. I bought this car as a project, but do not have time while going to school. It has a salvage title due to theft, NOT an accident. I have information on how to change the title back to normal since it was never wrecked or dismantled. I bought the car from a auction house in Phoenix Arizona. The interior is in pretty good shape other than a few small tears on the front seat. The stereo is missing the face plate. The only major flaws in condition is the convertible top. I have researched and a new top ranges from 250.00 - 600.00 depending on the quality selected. All of the power windows work but they operate slow. The power convertible top does work, again its a little slow too. Maybe they were slower than todays windows back then. The paint has been clear coated and it is peeling. The rear valence panel has a small dent and the drivers rear quarter has a dent that looks like it could be pushed out. The trunk is in good shape no rust that I have seen. The car is complete and in pretty good shape for being 38 years old. 1972, 400 cid, C6 automatic, Power Steering, Power Brakes, A/C- needs recharged, Power Windows. This car does start and drive, its fun to drive with the top down and has a very smooth ride. It could use a new top, rear shocks, and a tune up. It was last registered as a daily driver until May 2009. I do not know the true mileage, the odometer show 13K I imagine its a least 113K.
