We are selling our 1998 Nissan Maxima due to the fact it doesn't fit our needs any longer. We added a new kid to the family and the Nissan just is not big enough for the family. We are the 2nd owner of the car and I got it in 2002 @ 13000 miles. What you can see in the pics where the paint is a little faded and a minor flaw on the front bumper and the grill is missing the Nissan insigna, but other then that just normal wear and tear that you can see in the pics. Other than that, all glass and body is in good condition. Mechanically, everything is in working condition. Only two minor things...the ignition switch is starting to wear and you have to hold the key for a few seconds sometimes before it engages. Not all the time just sometimes only. The other thing is both side CV shafts outer boot is torn and they are clicking on sharp turns, so they will need to be replace in the near future. I drove this car long distance all the time and never had a problem and I would still do it today if I didn't have to get rid of it. I replaced the struts and mounts about 30,000 miles ago and the brakes and the front windshield about a year ago. I have changed the oil about every 2500 to 3500 miles with high mileage oil since 80,000 miles. AC works great along with all the doors and windows. The sony radio/cd player works but the volume knob is getting worn and you have to play with it and the antenna doesn't retract, it just stays up. This would be a great first car. I'm asking $2700 but would consider all offers. I do have this car posted locally and I may end this posting early if it sales.
