This is an above average, clean good running 2002 Chevy Cavalier with good miles that was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Company. They don't tell me why they did not repair but be glad they did not because this car would not have been available to purchase if not damaged because as nice as it is the previous owner would still be driving.
I have found that the salvage rebuilders that I buy from Insurance companies are much better because the vehicle was in service and doing fine until damaged.
The only damage is the right front fender and hub cap(tire & wheel ok). This will be an easy repair or replace with no hidden suprises. There is no frame or suspension damage and the windshield is good. You can see the cv joints in pics are dry and undercarriage is in good shape. The engine & transmission are perfect and I have put over 100 miles on just road testing because it is so comfortable to drive. The car drives straight down the road with ICE cold a/c, tilt wheel, cd player & cruise control.
The overall car is exceptional with no signs of abuse or driven on country roads. No rust, hail or parking lot dings and looks to have come from a good home with an up to date service sticker from the dealer and recently serviced with 1202 miles to go on current oil change. The picture of the instrument cluster will show the engine at idle with no signs of warning lights on. The picture will also show a new Interstate Battery was installed in June 2010.
The interior is also exceptional as can be seen in the pictures. It also has been owned by a non-smoker for the cig. lighter has never been used. The car has a remote start system but no key fob to start but that can be obtained aftermarket if you wanted to activate the remote start.
I ran a Carfax and it indicated a good history with 3 owners.
