PIX AND PAPERWORK FROM BMV DONE TODAY 8/28/10 IMPORTANT: THIS CAR COMES WITH A CLEAN!!!! OHIO TITLE....PER BMV...THIS CARFAX IS INCORRECT. I WENT TO DO A PARTIAL TRADE WITH THIS VEHICLE AT A LOCAL DEALERSHIP (IM SELLING AND DOWNGRADING BECAUSE MY SON WAS IN A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT ON THURSDAY AND I HAVE TO GET HIM A CAR TO GET TO COLLEGE ) THE DEALER GUY CAME OUT WITH A CARFAX ON MY CAR WHEN I GOT BACK FROM TEST DRIVING A CAR. HE SHOWED ME WHERE IT CAME UP AS A SALVAGE /rebuild TITLE AND THAT IT HAD THREE TITLES ON 11/17/2009 IN RAVENNA . I PURCHASED THIS CAR WITH A CLEAN TITLE AT A LOCAL DEALER IN FEBRUARY SO THIS MADE NO SENSE TO ME , NOTHING FROM WHERE I PURCHASED IT WAS DISCLOSED ABOUT IT AND THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO GO AFTER THE DEALER I PURCHASED IT FROM. SO FIRST THING THIS MORNING I WENT TO MY LOCAL BMV (BUREAU OF MOTOR VEHICLES) AND HAD SOME RESEARCH PULLED ON THE CAR. PER THE BMV THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A SALVAGE TITLE ON THIS CAR, IT CAME FROM NEW JERESEY WITH A CLEAR TITLE, THERE WAS A CLERICAL ERROR AT THE BMV IN PORTAGE COUNTY I HAVE THE PAPERWORK (PICTURED) THAT IS COMING WITH THE CAR FROM THE BMV . AT THE TIME THE ERROR WAS MADE AND THOSE TITLES WERE CANCELLED/VOIDED OUT BY THE BMV IN RAVENNA A FORM SHOULD HAVE BEEN FILLED OUT BY THE CLERK AND SENT IN TO CARFAX TO SHOW THERE WAS AN ERROR AND THOSE OTHER TITLES WERE VOIDED OUT.... THIS WAS NOT DONE. THE BUYER WILL BE RECEIVING ALL DOCUMENTS THAT I RECEIVED FROM THE BMV SHOWING THAT THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT AND HAS NEVER HAD A SALVAGE/REBUILD TITLE. I HAVE TO TAKE THE PAPER I HAVE FROM THE BMV TODAY TO THE PORTAGE COUNTY BMV WHERE THE TITLE WAS ORIGINALLY BROUGHT INTO THIS STATE BY THE DEALERSHIP I PURCHASED IT FROM AND SHOW THEM SOMEONE MADE AND ERROR AND THAT THEY HAVE TO SUBMIT A FORM TO CARFAX TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM. I WAS TOLD EVEN WHEN THE PAPERWORK IS SUBMITTED ITS POSSIBLE THAT IT CAN TAKE A WHILE FOR THE CARFAX TO BE FIXED. I HAVE ALL DOCUMENTS IN MY HAND , I ALREADY HAVE THE BALL ROLLING TO FIX THE ISSUE AND I WILL MAKE SURE THIS PROBLEM IS FULLY TAKEN CARE OF EVEN AFTER THE CAR LEAVES MY HANDS! I STAND BEHIND THIS TITLE! PASSES OHIOS ECHECK AND COMES WITH THE CURRENT INSPECTION/EMISSIONS PAPER. NON-SMOKERS CAR! NO RESERVE , MAKE A REASONABLE OFFER! Dont be afraid of a Volvo!!! its cheaper to maintain then a 1999 chevy silverado by two times over on the parts plus we know a place that has VERY reasonable parts for it should you ever need any. also i only pay 31 dollars a month through Geico for full coverage with towing and my coverages at 50,000/100,000 which is the next to the highest coverage you can get. this has been very reliable, dependable, great on gas, and inexpensive to maintain... emergency forces me to sell! Up for bid is a used but in good condition female adult owned, non-smoking and maintained 1998 Volvo v70 cross country wagon, THIRD ROW SEATING, leather interior, heated seats, power everything, power sunroof, luggage/cargo nets in the back. HOT HEAT, COLD A/C, CD PLAYER, ALL WHEEL DRIVE, 2.4 TURBO AUTOMATIC. DOESNT USE/or burn OIL, no unnecessary noises, transmission shifts smoothly, has the traction control with the sport, wet and normal settings. front and rear foglights, owners manual, keyless remote ( i bought it after the car so it still needs programmed). Tires are in good condition that are on the car but it comes with another FULL SET OF TIRES (winter tires) the ones that are on it handle very well in the snow anyway so its just an extra set of tires. This car plowed through the snow when we had our last winter storm with no worries! Mechnically: I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO DRIVE THIS CAR ANYWHERE!!! this car needed a little TLC when i purchased it , all has been FIXED and i have all the receipts that are coming with the car passenger side drive axel, both strut assemblies and springs in the front have been replaced, Evap valve replaced (had a minor vac leak), ABS and traction control light was on when i bought it and it ended up just being a wire on the right front rotor so i had that fixed, sway bar links in the front are brand new, alignment from the front end work being done, oil changed, transmission was replaced before i purchased it. shifts fine have had NO problems with it at all, only thing i know that doesnt work on the car is they didnt hook the cruise control back up.. BODY: the body is in average to good condition, has some scrapes and bumps on it but nothing major and most of it doesnt show up in the pictures, the tailgate has a weird spot on it about the size of a quarter.wipers on the headlights work but sometimes they get stuck up and then when you turn it on and back off they go down (they reset themselves) INTERIOR: back seats are in excellent condition, front shows a little leather wear from someone not keeping softener on them but they arent bad, one spot at the bottom of the drivers seat about the size of a nickle, and the plastic faux wood around the shifter is missing some i picked some of it off, its all black under it if you wanted to take the rest off, Dash is good, sunroof doesnt leak , glass all good, rear defrost works fine. oh and the drivers side interior arm panel has a bubble under the leather in one spot that just needs some of that glue shot behind it to press it back down. nothing major. even though it will be detailed and vacuumed before pickup, carpet could use some shampoo in spots.
