This is a rare early introduction into the US market Hyundai vehicle. It was the top of the line for this manufacture. The original owner was a young college woman and ended up going away to another college and left the car at her parents for over four years. This is one reason the car is in such fine condition to this day. The father put a new clutch and brakes on the car in preperation for his daughters return from school. However she no longer wanted the car and so he sold it to a family friend. The man who bought it did some tune-up and used the car with little regards for it's cleanliness as he was looking work work. He got a job in Alaska and needed money to relocate there. So hence I bought the car as I was needing an economical commuter vehicle. I have never gotten worse than 30 miles to the gallon and often got 35 miles to the gallon. Everything works on the car. The glass is all in excellant condition. Interior is amazing considering it is original and not torn or overly worn. It is a 5 speed manual transmission with the original 1500 cc engine. It is normally carburated with no fuel injection. Starts right up and does not smoke. The body is in original condition with no accident damage of any kind. Paint is in very good condition and is original. The tags have expired and the engine will need a tune-up if you will have to go through an emissions testing center for your area of residence. If you live outside of those areas you are good to go. The tires have good tread and the steel wheels have flashy wheel covers for bling. I suggest having a new set of shocks installed, but otherwise drives great. For tunes there is a Pioneer AM-FM radio with a single CD drive. I replaced the alternator and battery within the last year. There is an excellent spare tire with jack and a gas can included. Mileage is very low for a 22 year old car at less than 85,000 miles. It has the usual few small dimple dents and some scratches, but these are minor. It is a cream puff. There are no warranties with this car and I have tried to describe it as best I can.
