This is a 1979 Mercedes 450SL 2dr Convertible. This Mercedes comes with a clean California title, smog certificate, and current registration. This item is being sold by a charity and we have no history on the car. This body is straight and complete, but has multiple dings and scrapes. The paint is not great as it has been repainted and not a very good job. There is some over spray around doors and windows. The glass is fine, and the rims and tires look to be in ok shape. The trunk is clean with good spare, and engine compartment is clean as well. The interior is in fair shape and needs only minor cosmetic work. The leather seats are ok and headliner is fine as well. The carpets and floor mats have wear marks and stains but not too bad. The dash is in good shape with only small cracks on top. The power options appear to work fine, the A/C does not seem to blow cold at all. There is an undated cd player; the body does have minor surface scale but no significant rust. This item appears to run ok, it has not been driven extensively by us but it does appear to shift, brake, and accelerate fine. No Reserve, the buyer must pick up this item no later than 7 days after the end of the auction. A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of Auction end.
