Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1972 Chevrolet Super Cheyenne Pickup in medium blue and white from previous owners private collection. Seems to be an older restoration of say 8-10 years or so. It is still in really great shape and is exceptionally tight when driving. It is powered by a GM crate 350 small block with a 3 speed tranmission and stock rearend housing. Accessories consist of power steering and brakes along with a/c and tilt wheel and in dash tach. The a/c seems to be all there but not 100%. It does however pull in the clutch on the compressor and its been converted over to 134a and blows cool air (not cold) just not enough for this summer heat. Paint is strong for a driver quality truck. It does have a few chips here and there and some lite bubbling in the drivers door and a little near the drip rail. This appears to be poor prep from the restoration. The bed floor looks incredible! The interior also appears stock with the exception of a Blaupunkt CD palyer in the dash and a later model steering wheel. Carpet looks fresh. The seat has one small tear (see pic) on the drivers side and some lite stains on the cloth part of the seat. If it were mine and I was going to try and make it more of a show truck I would have a new cover ordered and installed. The springs and foam in the seat feel very supportive and comfortable. All lighting on the truck works along with the blinkers and hazards. Wheels are a set 15x8 rallies with BFG rubber which are all in great shape. All the trim and the glass on the truck is in very good shape and looks really clean. A far as rust goes the only thing I have found is a small section in the front drivers cab corner on the bottom near the ground that could be replaced with a flat piece of metal. Its not near the mount itself and is probably 1 1/4" x 3". No structural or sagging issues have been caused by it. All other cab corners, rockers, and pans look good. Truck rides and drives really well and would be a great driver! Sure I forgot some things so feel free to contact me with any questions. Truck will be available for viewing anytime during the duration of the auction. You are also welcome to send a third party inspector. I will also assist if bidder chooses to have it shipped by carrier. Good luck and happy bidding!
