Removable Targa top that stores in the front luggage bay The story behind this fantastic vehicle: This Fiat was purchased new in 1981 by its original owner. It was then parked due to the owners health problems in 1985 It sat till 2008 when it was purchased by the second owner. The second owner did all major mechanical work to get it road worthy again. He drove it a couple of times and then put it for sale because he had his heart set on another project. The original plate and license plate dealer trim is included and on the car 1985. This car is unique in quality, character and total fun to drive with only 31,000 original miles, beautiful interior, very desirable exterior color, excellent combination. This car offers excitement, pleasure and once again total fun to extract the quality of such a great handling and performance ride. The vehicle has been refurbished with new tires, brake calibers, drilled and slotted performance rotors, new performance shocks & struts, new clutch, throw-out bearing and clutch plate. The transmission was reworked to original condition. This model offers fuel injection, which delivers outstanding performance over the carbureted version. The entire exterior of the vehicle was stripped down of all components, a new epoxy primer encapsulates the body and a new two (2) stage paint applied original color. The wheels were also painted their factory silver with black inserts. New timing belt was installed too. The interior of this car was never touched it is all original. The dash and gauges are like brand new. The rugs are mint & door panels too. The glass is perfect all around. The lenses and emblems are gorgeous. The 2 fiat logos are new but the fuel injection emblem is original. We completely dismantled this car. The doors,trunk, bumpers, trim,and hood etc etc were removed for paint. The engine lid which is 3 pieces was disassembled and completely restored with factory satin finish and aluminum rivets. All trim pieces received new satin finish paint. the bertone emblems are perfect. The bumpers received new black vinyl inserts because their were 2 little chips missing. Every detail was painstakingly restored. All areas under bumpers and behind hard to reach places were cleaned and treated to protect this car for years to come. We wanted this car to last forever for its next owner. It received a generous amount of primer, paint and clear, much more than Fiat ever used from the factory. As you can see in the pictures. The original exhaust still has its factory black satin coating. The undercarriage coating is original and in mint condition. Factory radio and speakers too. This Fiat runs excellent. It drives like a new car, because it basically is. All the mechanical components of this car were checked and set to factory specs. A compression test was done and an inspection on all components to assure proper working order. Like I stated before. If you love the X19 than this is the best it gets. One of the finest examples around with the best engine and nicest color combination. Don't let this one pass you by, you probably wont see another.
