Up for auction is my 1966 chevy short wheel base fleetside truck. Truck has a Very strong 327 with a holley 750 double pumper in it attached to a 4 speed floor shift trans. It has got a 12 bolt rearend with 4:11 gears. This truck is very quick and is a blast to drive. It does have manual steering and manual drum brakes however. All glass is good, could use new window felts and weatherstripping. All lights work but I don't have blinkers hooked up. Taillights, headlights and brakelights work properly. got this truck about 5 months ago and have been working on it cosmetically a little bit here and there. Not much really but I did paint it and put some seats out of a yukon in it, put carpet it, redid the door panels and gauge cluster.The paint is definitely a 20 footer. I planned on going back and doing it right but got caught up in other projects. Paint is sort of a hugger orange with a lot of pearl in the clear coat. Truck is in pretty nice shape overall. Need quite a few small dents and dings massaged out. I'll let the pics show those. No big dents...most are hard to see. Each door has a dent where it rubbed the fender sheet metal...those are by far the worst dents. The top of the bed behind the cab has a rusted out spot. The tailgate is in really bad shape/rust-out. Probably could be salvaged I always planned on finding another. Needs one rear tire...the rest are OK. The guy I got the truck from planned on bagging it. The front is missing the coil springs and has blocks in place on then. you can get a pair of drop springs for $160 The cab floor is very solid except for one spot about the size of a box of matches. The whole floor was cleaned of any rust and treated before carpet was put down. The engine bay shows very well. I can't think of anything else so please ask questions. On Aug-27-10 at 23:11:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Some things I wanted to add is that the truck doesn't have any windshield wipers or a rear bumper. Also, I was checking everything out yesterday and the rear brake lights weren't very bright being the original ones so I got a pair of brand new LED lights I'm putting in in the morning. Also I do have the parking light bezels for the front. I also wanted to add the transmission is a Muncie 4 speed. Plus the engine is a built 327 I don't know what all goodies are in it but I do know it's got a pretty healthy cam in it. It's got an edelbrock intake also. The door handles are shaved too but I'm sure you noticed that in the pics.
