1983 Porsche 911SC Up for auction this great running 911SC sunroof coupe, VIN# WP0AA0913DS122259...this car is a true 3.0l “SC”. This 911 is in great shape and it’s handling is tight and responsive... as a Porsche should be. The body is very nice, the paint is in overall good condition, however there are a couple of chips which have been neglected a little, but can easily be cleaned and touched up. While not concourse this car is a great 10 footer and makes a great driver. -Exterior- The body is in good condition, but does have imperfections here and there (mainly small rock chips) and a small spot where the paint is bubbling near the windshield as well as the rear quarter window. Personally I would have the car repainted, but the new owner may choose to do touch-ups where needed and drive it as is. Otherwise this car is rust free including the trunk, battery tray and floors. The car is further complimented by the original Fuch rims which have absolutely no curb rash, but could use a fresh coat of paint as it is faded in places. All the glass is nice and clear with no scratches or hazing. Tires are practically brand new, with approximately 95+% of the tread remaining. Everything in the car works as it should including the electric sunroof which operates quickly and with ease. The paint is original except for the driver’s door which was repainted due to a scratch shopping cart. Other than the scratch that was fixed on the door and some touchups on the bumpers this car wears all of it's original paint which shows very well. -Interior- The interior is in good shape, including the seats, carpets and door panels. The headliner is in poor shape will need to be replaced (I have a brand new one ready to be installed included with the car in the sale). The dash is in mint condition with no cracks or imperfections. The rear seats are in like new condition as if they were never been used. The original Blaupunkt radio is in great working condition. This car is equipped with air conditioning which is in good working order, however needs a recharge. -Engine & Transmission- The engine is perfectly tuned, runs strong, starts up on the first try each and every time and burns absolutely no oil. It runs and idles as it should, with no problems. It is a great running little Porsche, always well maintained. The engine is completely dry and there are no leaks anywhere, even after sitting in the garage for a couple of weeks the garage floor is spotless. The transmission shifts seamlessly through the gears with no slipping. There are no strange noises or vibrations from the engine or drive train, all you hear is the music of the flat six. The ride in this 911 is great, there are no squeaks, rattles or other unwanted noises, the car drives straight and true...there is nothing indicating this car is nearly 30 years old! I do not see any indication of the car ever being in an accident however the driver’s side door has been repainted to damage caused by a shopping cart. The remainder of the car wears it’s original paint.
