Vehicle Detail

Highly desirable rust free Idaho car. No rust repairs were needed on the refurbishing of this vehicle. The floors, quarters and all frame rails were found to be rust free and no repairs required. This car has had extensive new trim parts in the refurbishing process. The engine is a professionally rebuilt 351 Cleveland with FMX transmission and a 3.00 nine inch rear. The car is afactory A/C car but the underhood items are gone. All interior a/c parts are intact including controls and evaporator. The engine and transmission were not removed during a recent freshening but are still very fresh and clean. All the glass was removed from the car prior to painting. Engine runs strong and does not use oil or overheat in town or highway driving. The brakes are slightly hard pedal from storage but do work and pads and linings are good. The car is lowered slightly and also runs low profile tires. Handles extreemly well and drives down the road straight and true. The paint is base/clear with modified stripes painted on. There are several touch up spots from chips in the paint but is still a very eye catching and desirable car. A partial list of options/ accessories is as follows: Front and rear sway bars, front is HD, stock one included in sale, front disc brakes, A/C (non-working),hood scoop, front and rear spoilers, rear window louvers, custom painted side vent inserts,GT rear valance, chrome GT dual exhaust tips, Custom Autosound original fit stereo, tape player, trunk mounted speakers, power brakes, custom wood steering wheel, Tach,ET clock(doesn't work), floor shift, very hard to find 4- speed console with deluxe finish, Shelby gauge pod with new oil and temp gauges, Deluxe black Mach 1 interior with red insert and light teak wood grain inserts.Lap and shoulder belts. BODY: Rust free, ding free, painted 7 years ago but still looks very good. Does have several areas touched up, just chips, very straight quarters on this car, a couple small bubbles in paint on right rear quarter panel extension- not rust as this piece is fiberglas but I think from paint solvent to body filler- very, very small. This car is a wonderful heart turner and crowd pleaser. Not a real show car and has been used as a commute car once or twice a month. Drives well and can be driven home, brakes are hard pedal and may need some minor attention. SUSPENSION: Poly bushings everywhere, KYB shocks, ball joints, tie rod ends, upper and lower A arm poly bushings, spring perch poly bushings, sway bar bushings, lowered suspension. VIN/Door tag decodes as follows: San Jose Plant, Oct.17, 1968, 3.00 open rear, FMX, 351 2V, unit 112115, Int Blk vinyl/blk knitted vinyl. Mach 1 luxury, Color Lime Gold Metallic w flat black hood.
