Vehicle Detail

Bid of $28,001.00 meets reserve. Also, trade-ins are welcome. I am ready to sell so I can move forward on a real estate purchase. You are bidding on the nicest Shelby GT-H Convertible for sale. I searched for several months when these cars became available to find the right one. This car is ideal for a collector. Here is the history on this model: In 2007 Shelby Automobiles in Las Vegas was commissioned to build no more than 500 special edition convertible Mustangs for the Hertz Corporation. The mechanical upgrades are from Ford racing and include a 90mm Intake, X-Pipe Exhaust, "GTA" mufflers, 3.73 LS rear end, and special engine tuning. These cars also feature a full Ford Racing supsension, and the handling matches the incredible performance. Visually, Shelby did even more extensive modifications. The front and rear end, the fiberglass hood, the blacked out wheels, the LeMans Gold stripes, and the light bar all pay homage to the Hertz Mustangs of the 1960's. These are truly incredible vehicles and could very well be the collectible Mustang of this generation. This particular is serial #CSM007H228 (production number 228 of 500 in the world). It is also one of only two I have seen that have no evidence of accident damage during time as a rental vehicle. The Autocheck notes two paint damage items to the front (one on the left and one on the right). These were paint scrapes on the front fascia sides which were damaged by parking blocks when parked. The areas were repainted in the reconditioning process and are now perfect. I will include the r.o. from the dealership and pictures to document this. I started with the nicest vehicle available, and then had a light reconditioning done at a dealership that sells new Shelby Mustangs (Long McArthur Ford in Salina,Ks). This included new stripes from Shelby (receipt included), new front grilles from Shelby, new tires, new battery, etc... If you know these cars, you know that most need an extensive reconditioning. An average GT-H will need @$7,000-$8,000 in throrough reconditiong to begin to match the caliber of this car. You will own an incredible collector car for much less than you could replace it for. As I intended to keep this car for 20 years or more, I kept a lot of unique documentation on this vehicle. Please see the picture which shows the Certificate of Authenticity from Shelby, a copy of the original title where the car was registered to the Hertz Corporation, and an ad from 2007 advertising the car. The keys still have the original tags from Hertz, and the plastic bag in the picture is sealed witth the extra keyless remote as Hertz received it from Ford and Shelby. The metal plaque was given to me by the Shelby Automobile company as a permanent replacement to the sticker currenlty on the dash between the center vents. I have not installed the metal one so that both can be displayed. The dash is signed by the legendary Mr. Carroll Shelby himself, and the signature comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity. It is also clearcoated so that it will last for the future. Please also note the engine seal from Shelby on the photo of the passenger side of the engine. These wires were installed with a seal to validate that this motor is the one that was in the car when it left the Shelby factory. I also put the California plates back on the car for the photos and also do so when I display the car. As the key tags verify, these are the plates that Hertz had on the car. The car also comes with a custom made front cover and car cover to keep it pristine. This is your chance to acquire one of the finest examples of one of the rarest Mustangs ever made. The first Shelby GT-H brought $250,000 at Barrett jackson. Please do not hesitate to email with any questions you may have. I can assist with low cost shipping to anywhere in the United States or to the port of your choice for overseas buyers. I only own the best quality vehicles, and my feedback will show that I have sold several of my collectible vehicles over the last 10 years with perfect feedback. Thank You for looking and Happy Bidding! Derek Lee
