This is a 1962 ford fairlane 500 that is very solid everywhere,as you can see in the pics the body is in very nice condition,the rockers are solid,front fent fenders are in excellent shape,back drivers fender has pin hole started and passenger side rear does have a few small holes starting,the floor pans are solid also due to it being undercoated ten-15 yrs ago so it protected it,interior is in all right shape,door panels in great shape besides drivers side has wrinkle in it and arm rest is not that great,door handles and window cranks all there,all dash pieces are there but not all perfect,back seat where you sit is good back top is not,front back is good but where you sit is not,carpet is all out so you can see the floor pans are solid,all glass is good,chrome is all there and good,motor is a straight six with 3 on tree,ran when parted but is locked up do to sitting,had antifreeze in it though,no water in oil,very solid in the motor compartment,shock towers are solid,firewall is solid,it has a 8inch rear end and is a 5 bolt, also the trunk pan is real good,few pin holes and a little rust but solid,inner wells are solid,leafs are solid to the frame(not rusted out like others i have seen)i honestly dont think you could find a more solid body and framefor a 62 than this that is original around here,this would be a great project car that would not take much body work,i bought this with out a title,they were gonna part it out but it is in too good of shape to do that,i will sign a bill of sale,the title can be searched for or bonded,you will not be dissapointed in the condition of it,can store for a while but needs to be paid for,i have two other projects to fix so that is why i am parting with this,call 319 521 9410 if you have other ?s
