Just upgraded to a convertible Jag and have to part with the old one. We have owned this Jaguar for 5 years and have really enjoyed it. I have become somewhat of a Jaguar mechanic over the years and here is a list of what has been replaced/ repaired: Replaced head gasket and reworked the cylinder head ~1.5 years ago Replaced Rear differential and output shafts ~1 years ago Replaced Radiator ~2 years ago Replaced Steering Rack ~1 year ago Rebuilt Power Steering Pump ~1 year ago Front Wheel Bearings ~1 year ago Starter ~1 year ago Accelerator Cable ~1 year ago Rear Seat Replaced with Van de Plas seat Replaced both Rear Mufflers (Silencers) ~ 1 year ago Purchased Weatherstripping but not installed, comes with car AC system charged with R-134a and Blows Cold Air Both Catalytic Converters ~ 4 years ago - Car passed smog test in Texas 3 years ago, Smog not required in NV. Everything works on the car except the cruise control, central lock system and the horn. The horn only needs to have the wire grounded to the steering column. Can take care of it before the close of the auction. The cruise control needs a new control module. The door lock system blows a fuse and I have never investigated the problem. The car does not leak any oil, which is unusual for a Jaguar. Now for the bad things: The car is not rust free but close. The rear valance is rusted but nothing else. It has a few door dings, scratches and dents (See the picture below) Front seats need to be replaced The car can be driven anywhere after purchase, its ready to go.
