$4900 Is What it takes to buy it! If you're interested feel free to give me a call [619]889/9579. I will do a buy it now for a serious buyer. 1979 Scout II.4x4 traveler. 1 elderly owner. Dry, Life long California 100% Rust Free Scout. Never off roaded or abused. Bought new here in El Cajon California and has never left. Still retains all of its original paint and is 100% stock! Even has the original Blue Ca license plates and the dealership frame. 345 V8, Automatic, AC. Runs and drives very nice! I just spent $1200 rebuilding the transmission. Engine starts right up and settles into a nice smooth idle. The 4x4 works. The body is in great shape! No paint or body work ever! What you see is what you get! Nothing to hide here. The paint is decent and will shine up with a little work but is wearing thin in a few spots and there is a minor scrape on the passenger side. Original AM radio that works. The interior is untouched and pretty clean. The 2 front seats could stand recovering and maybe new carpet. The rest is very presentable. Comes with roof rack and a set of sliding rear windows. (see pics) All in all its a 1 owner, Honest, Rock solid California Scout that would be the perfect candidate for a high end restore or just cruise her the way it is. It would be impossible to find anything this clean back east. Shipping is buyers responsibility but I can help assist. Or can even set it up for you. Usually $400-$1000 door to door anywhere in the US. 10% due at end of auction the balance with in 3 days. I live in San Diego and would be happy to pick you up at the airport to view the truck. Thanks!
