1981 Mercedes Benz 380 SL convertible only 97,437 original miles. Original documentation from Mercedes Benz. If you ever dreamed of owning a classic Mercedes SL convertible at a low price then this is your opportunity. This car was acquired from an elderly person from the Florida beaches that practically abandoned this car for sometime.. The car needs some work but it is a very original solid car!! The car only has 97,437 miles and was told to be original miles, the motor is not starting if you put a battery and some gas in the throttle body it tries to start but it does not start!! We don't think it's a big problem but we are not mechanics and we don't know what the problem is.The motor oil appeared to be clean when we checked it. The body is very straight it does have some small rust spots because it was sitting for a long time. The top is OK for its age not new but presentable. The interior is all there and it does look old and seems very original. The motor compartment is clean and the tires are Firestone i believe and they are brand new with very low miles!! The trunk compatment is very original looking and in good shape. This will make the right person a very nice car once finished!! This vehicle is sold AS IS with no warranty!!
