2006 Suzuki GS500f Great starter or commuter bike! I bought this bike new in September of 2006. It is a great bike for a beginner as it is very easy to ride. It has a very good center of balance, smooth throttle, and reacts to the riders commands almost instinctively. It has good power delivered by the parallel twin engine. It gets over 50mpg and changes directions easily. It would make a great commuter bike for anyone looking to save a little money in today's economy. The bike has never been laid down or wrecked. When I bought this bike I also had a Scorpio alarm system installed. It comes with a remote that will alert you when the alarm has been triggered. Once set the alarm will warn you if the bike has been moved, picked up off the sidestand, or had the igntion tampered with. A brand new set of flush mount turn signals and a new windshield are included in the sale. There is some damage to the end of the right side handle bar and the primary cover caused by my friend who dropped a piece of furniture against the bike when he was moving some of his stuff out of my garage. There is also some damage to the left hand side of the fairing on the very bottom of the bike where a ramp slid while unloading the bike out of a truck. The ramp slid up and broke off a piece of the fairing. I will get a picture of this damage added soon. The bike was serviced by a certified technician at all applicable times. A new battery was installed this past summer. I can deliver the bike to El Paso or the Odessa/Midland area. Delivery to anywhere else within 400 miles of 79830 if we come to an agreement. I will also assist in anyway I can if you choose to have the bike shipped by a third party but all cost will be at the buyer's expense. The bike comes as is with no warranty expressed or implied. I have done my best to describe the bike to the best of my knowledge and if I can think of anything else that needs to be added I will. On Aug-15-10 at 11:18:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added pictures of the damage caused by the ramp slipping and the bike tipping over and sliding against the bed of the truck. As you can see there are some scratches and hold through lower portion of the fairing where the corner of the fairing poked through.
