1957 Chevy 2 door Hardtop BelAir. Original 283 power pack car with powerglide. The car was built in Flint, Michigan. Currently has 302 and M-20 Muncie 4 speed. Original colors canyon coral bottom with India ivory top. Interior code 670 black and silver. Cowl tag and VIN number are on the vehicle. VC code car meaning V-8 Belair. The fuel line is on the outside of frame. Currently the car has been started on; the top was soda blasted and primed with self etching primer. NOS GM rocker mouldings, switches, brake hose, and 1/4 emblems. New Firestone tires, wheels, trim rings, and center caps. Front frame was stripped and blasted to beneath firewall. Painted back with chassis black. Installed new upper and lower tubular control arms. New coil springs, new drop spindles, new disc brake conversion, new wheel bearings, seals, ball joints upper & lower, inner & outer tie rod ends. New dual port master cylinder and lines with proportion valve. New Griffin crossflow conversion radiator, new super comp headers, new crossmember package GM kit. Side mount motor mount package. New brake hoses, body mounts, bolts, etc. Many other new parts from East Coast Chevy. Several thousand dollars spent in parts alone. The current drive train is a 302 and 1967 M-20 Muncie 4-speed. Engine was built in 1969 using 327 small journal block with 283 crank. Engine was built by Holmon and Moody. Has custom ground flat tappet solid cam by Holman and Moody. Weiand intake and Holley carb. Engine does run. Transmission shifts quietly. I have all seats front and rear. I have all chrome and stainless for car including extra set of body side stainless. All stainless in great condition. Car is a solid project. Driverside floor pan needs replaced and included is a new one. Trunk is solid with minimal pepper holes in part of floor. I am the 3rd owner. Car has tremendous potential. Car is for sale with NO RESERVE. BID to OWN. It comes with a clear Virginia title. Car needs to be paid in full by August 31st and picked up by 9-10-10. A $500 deposit is to be paid into Paypal within 24 hours of the auctions end.
