Vehicle Detail
PLEASE READ CAREFULY Before bidding. 1993 VW Eurovan. Great working vehicle. As far as I know, I am the third owner of this van and it's been a great vehicle for me since I have had it. Previous owner spent over $3,000 in rebuilding the transmission two years ago and I have the reciepts from Mr. Transmission in Knoxville TN. We have had the van for just over a year and have been using it for long drives and deliveries of boxed and small retail items to different cities in Ga. and S. Carolina. Engine and Transmission are strong and well taken care of. Very roomy and comfortable vehicle. Please look at the pictures carefuly and you will see the cosmetic flaws such as rear left light lense is cracked as well as front signal light lense has a piece broken off. They work fine, just the lenses are broken. Rear Left bumper guard, paint has been rubbed off of it. Interior is in great shape but needs to be washed and cleaned. There are no excessive tears or deep stains that can not be cleaned off. Mostly it's Ga. Red Clay off passengers and workers shoes! A good detail will make this vehicle 100% better looking. We had the A/C charged in May and worked fine for about a week but there is no cold air now. Since it worked for a while we are certain it has to have a leak in the system and have not gone back to check it. It has front and rear blowers. Everything works and we don't hesitate driving it long distances any time. The front Driver side CV joint is starting to make a little noise and my guy says he can replace it for under $140. If I dont sell it, we will drive it at least another year before having to replace. Tires are in decent shape and should be fine for another year also. I have closed my businesses and am selling all extra things I have. This is a low maintenance work horse and will make someone a great long term vehicle. It just needs some TLC. It is driven about 300 miles per week right now and oil regularly changed at about 3000 miles. Good Luck ... PAY PAL OR CASH ONLY. Thanks On Aug-14-10 at 13:32:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Alright folks. I had Randy & Josh here test driving it for over an hour, they came back with a leak in heater hose, took it to a mechanic changed heater hose ($118) and they told me that it MAY need a head gasket now since they ran it hot. He is not sure, but I drove it back and ran some errands about 50 + miles and it seems fine. Head gasket is cheap ($20) but the labor they told me was anywhere between $400 to $500 . I will reduce the price and reserve by that much because I know the problem could be there and I need to disclose. It seems fine, but the Mechanic says this may be needed. It's a great van, I just have too many vehicles. I will be listing two other vehicles this coming week. Good luck
