***MY APOLOGIES TO ALL BIDDERS AND WATCHERS...I ENDED THE PREVIOUS AUCTION DUE TO LEARNING MORE ABOUT THE GAS LEAK AND DISCOVERING A POTENTIAL ISSUE WITH THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE. *** HERE IS WHAT I KNOW: THE GAS LEAK HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TANK ITSELF. THE TANK IS PLASTIC AND IN GOOD SHAPE. THE FUEL SENDING UNIT ON TOP OF THE TANK WAS BAD AND LEAKING TOO MUCH TO SELL IT LIKE IT WAS. i HAVE THE PARTS ORDERED AND IT WILL BE REPAIRED THIS WEEK. I COULD NOT IN GOOD FAITH LET SOMEONE PURCHASE THIS JEEP LEAKING FUEL AS BAD AS IT WAS TODAY. THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE WILL ONLY SHIFT FROM 2 HI TO 4 LOW. I HAVE NO IDEA IF THIS IS A REAL ISSUE OR JUST AN ADJUSTMENT. IN THE 7 YEARS OUR FAMILY HAS HAD THIS VEHICLE IT HAS RARELY BEEN IN 4 WHEEL. IT DOES NOT MAKE ANY ODD NOISES. Again, my apologies for ending the previous auction. I simply couldn't in good faith sell the Jeep leaking like it did today. when you pick it up it is my intent to have the fuel issue solved. 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ, Soft Top, No Reserve The Good: Radiator replaced in 2003 Thermostat replaced in 2004 Clutch replaced in 2006 Starts and runs like a champ Body is decent for the year The Bad: Muffler is rusted May need brake pads Tires are worn Spare needs to be replaced..it's flat Rust here and there...typical for the year. Most notable is the floor board is rusted around factory drip holes, surface rust at the bottom of both doors, other surface rust on door hinges...all typical for the year. General wear, rips and tears one would expect for a 1995 Jeep with over 160K miles The engine is still strong, the transmission shifts out fine. The Jeep has been setting for a few months and started right up after a charge. Needs a little TLC but there is nothing I'm aware if that isn't repairable with parts from Ebay. This vehicle is sold where is..as is. The buyer is responsible for the vehicle after purchase. Clean title will be signed over to the purchaser along with a notarized bill of sale. You will be responsible for providing insurance and your own drive off tag.
