This is a 1954 Chevrolet ½ ton SWB pickup with a 235 inline 6 cyl and 3 speed column shift transmission. . I purchased this truck from a gentleman in 2006 who had just rebuilt the engine and brake system. He had took everything apart on the body except the cab and primed it. It sat in my barn until about a year ago when I got it out and decided to paint it to prevent it from rusting again. I had plans of fully restoring it one day and wanted to preserve it. The paint job looks good but this is not a truck you take to a car show expecting to win first place with. There is no rust left in this truck body. It is a real eye catcher on its occasional Sunday drives. Since I have had the truck it has no had 100 miles put on it. It runs and drives GREAT!! It has all working lights that came original on it (headlights and a single running and brake light). This truck did not come with turn signals in 1954. New: door panels, headliner, rubber floor mat, seat cover, and door to cab rubber seals on the inside. All of the inside was just also sanded to the metal, primed, and painted. All original glass is still in the truck and would look better if replaced. It still has the original AM radio (not working) and original heater The only reason that I am selling this truck is that I have a too many to projects and a baby that will be here in September.
