Vehicle Detail

Hello and welcome. Being offered is a 1994 Camaro, with a 3.4L V6 and a 4L60E auto transmission. Actual total miles as of 08/15/10 is 77,759. Color is bright red. I use synthetic lubricants and get 30+ mpg on the highway. There are just 6,000 miles on PZ 245/50ZR/16 tires. Stock Camaro alloy wheels. I put in a new Kenwood stereo last Fall, and with the factory Bose speaker/amplifier set-up (each speaker has its own electronics) the system really cranks out. The stock set-up utilized 3 of the stereo channels. I got a used Corvette Bose speaker of the same type and hooked it up to the 4th channel. That speaker is in the gray-looking housing in the back tray. The stock antenna is removed (but still in the back, hidden), and a powered internal antenna is installed (works very well). I have in the last year replaced both lower ball joints, both outer tie rod ends, front calipers, front brake pads, muffler, tailpipe. Alignment performed after front-end work done, and just before new tires installed. I installed a new A/C compressor this Spring, works fairly well but may need additional charge (then again I'm basing that on 100 degree recent temperatures). On several recent trips of several hundred miles each the Camaro was a fun and comfortable car to drive. There is a Spectre aftermarket air intake system installed. Engine runs in normal temperature range. No cooling issues. I installed a vacuum guage and oil tempereture guage (have not been able to hook up sender for oil temp guage). I put LED light strips along the molding over each door, with their own switch in the driver's door. Great interior lighting. There are a few small dents (parking lot variety). Also a few small hail dents (hood only). difficult to make show up in photos). There is an area of abraision,on the windshield at the base of the driver's side wiper, probably from presence of clump of sand during operation. Does not affect or obstruct vision. The Camaro had a couple of long scratches on the upper rear bumper, and I have done some filling already with touch-up paint. There is wear/tear on driver's seat (see photo) in the usual place on these cars. 2 small holes in one rear seat. Just remembered, one loose wire this Spring had me believing it needed a new starter. It didn't, but I had already replaced both the starter/solenoid and the ignition switch. So goes life. With the Camaro go both a Haynes repair manual AND a 2-volume factory 1994 Camaro/Firebird repair manual. There is a new and unused car cover included. This has been my daily driver for over a year (except during our record snows this past Winter). It has been fun to drive and work on. However, I have health/medical issues that do not allow me work on cars anymore (not that this car needs anything). My overall situation has changed, and my vehicular needs have changed. This Camaro could be driven anywhere, and has a long life ahead of it. Burns regular gas. Look closely at pictures, will tell you a lot. Any questions, just ask. If you live close enough and want to see the Camaro call me at 540-371-6095. My answering system won't let me retrieve messages, so if I don't answer when you call, just try again. Ebay keeps listing leather seats, Camaro has cloth seats, won't let me change it. Almost forgot: new VA inspection 9 days ago, good though Aug., 2011. The Camaro is sold as-is, with no warranty. Thanks for stopping by. Shipping of this vehicle only if you are able to arrange it. I am not able to do it. One more thing, this Camaro has almost no rust anywhere, just superficial on some steel components underneath. On review of listing, note that the stereo also is a CD player. Cruise control works fine. Picture with air scoop just has scoop resting on hood, not attached. Scoop IS included, so you can add if desired.
