Volvo 240 Wagon: This Volvo has 158,800 original miles and is in very good mechanical condition. It has 4 brand new Goodyear radial tires; new front and rear shocks; good brakes and exhaust; good transmission; strong and quiet engine (does not burn or leak oil); gets good mileage and is very reliable. The body overall is very good, with a few very small rust spots on the passenger side (rocker panel and rear wheel well); otherwise no rust. It was hit on the driver's side rear quarter panel, but was repaired. Evidence of the repair is visible, but not bad. It had also been hit in the front, but was again repaired by a body shop. The front grill is cracked in one spot. The front end is good; the car is rock steady on the highway. Other issues: the front driver's seat vinyl is cracked and should be changed ( I have seat covers on the front now). The door pockets are missing. The power locks don't work on two passenger doors, but they lock manually. It has a newer JVC AM/FM radio with cd player which works well. The air conditioning works. The rear window wiper does not work. The car has had regular oil changes. The car has passed inspection for New Jersey and is good through March, 2011.
