Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 2wd. I purchaced as a project and I now need to sell. I bought this truck last year and decided to repower it with a newer engine and transmission. This truck had a 4cyl 4 speed. I bought a doner 1995 cherokee from a friend that was well maintained and had the transmission rebuilt. I used all the parts needed from the cherokee to re power this comanchee. While I had the engine out I put a new set of gaskets on the 4.0 HO,front and rear main seals, oilpan gasket, timing cover gasket. I changed the wiring harness and dash harness for the 1995 4.0 HO. This swap was fairly simple. I swapped the brake booster and master, brake foot peddles, and steering colum that has a airbag in the wheel. All fit like it was ment to be and the only change in the wiring harness was for the brake lights, and was a simple fix. The fuel pump also had to be changed and is new. The transmission is a 1995 ASIAN automatic transmission and was rebuilt about 1 1/2 years ago 6 mos of that has been parked.I also had a brand new drive shaft built from a company that only builds drive shafts. I also put the coil springs from the cherokee on the comanche to take the weight of the 6 cyl, with new shocks. I broght the truck to the local tire shop and had the front end checked an aligned. The truck runs and drives great and has no leaks. The ac needs to be finished condenser, evaporator and compressor are there but needs hoses and a accumulator. I had the truck painted in the spring and the bed coated with herculiner. The rear bumper has a few minor dents and had a few scratches so we used the same herculiner on the rear bumper. The truck is rust free and only had a few small dings and one area around the right rear rocker panel where it looked like a jack had pushed it up but the dent was filled. The paint job looks pretty good overall with a couple of small hard to see runs. The tail gate has 2 areas that had to be touched up do to the painter resting the tailgate on the frame while the rear bumper was off. Its not bad but is hard to explain. tailgate is also rust free. The interior is a nice shade of blue and for the age is in great shape. The driver side seat has what appears like a small burn hole only one. The dash is nice with no cracks and the head liner is starting to show age but is still ok. The man I bought this truck from was retired military and was a non smoker so as far as what looks like to me as a small burn hole may have came from another owner. The windows are manual and the rear window opens and has factory tint on the rear window. The tires are Kumho and are around half life and all balanced. Overall this truck is in great shape and should last a long time.I have a lot invested and hate to sell. Every thing was done in late winter early spring. The truck had 223k on it before the 1995 swap. the gauge set in the dash is for the 1995 engine and transmission. Any questions feel free to ask.
